It all started around 2009...

So, there I walked into Frequency Hobbies in VanderBijlpark in South Africa. In the background Gospel music played softly, and as I approached the counter, he looked up at me...Deep blue eyes piercing into my soul, dark hair and with a friendly smile  "what can I help with..." That is how I met Riaan, his radiating inner peace calming those around him...strange, but true...

So we talked, and eventually he asked if I could help him solve a problem...HobbyZone...

They develop some great products, add ons in fact, that fits on their range of model aeroplanes. One of the products is a ultrasonic gun...this gets strapped on the bottom of the plane, and then the wars begin...dogfighting...

Now here the problem...the gun only works on their systems, which is not widely available in South Africa...The request, please design an interface that will allow use of the gun on standard radio control receivers.

And that is how my first project started....
